Sit With Me
Hey friend, my name is Annette. Welcome to Faith Over Coffee!
If you and I were to meet in person, there would be two cups of coffee between us (or tea or water…maybe even wine) and we would sit and chat about your life and mine. I’d say it was nice to finally talk to you and after an hour we’d part ways.
But before you left, I would ask you, “Do you know Jesus?” How you’d answer, I’m not sure. Either way, I hope you would listen to what I have to say. And on this day, I’d tell you about the Lord, my love for Him and how He loves you.
All of this over a cup of coffee.
I started Faith Over Coffee (FOC) back in 2017. At the time, I was trying to discover what I wanted in life and where God was taking me. And boy oh boy would he take me on a journey. In 2020, I pivoted the content on the blog (I had it in my head I could change it to just equestrian stuff) before I would literally delete the entire site in 2021
(a moment I regret because your girl didn’t save some of her writing *facepalm*).
Anyway…I felt God tugging on my heart to write again and relaunch FOC in 2024 and after a lot of tugging and prompting, I finally did (in 2026 but who’s counting? Better late than never).
I may not get to physically sit with you and talk over a cup of coffee (maybe one day), but I am here, writing with at least a cup nearby.
So grab your coffee, take a breath, and stay awhile.
